Well-Traveled Summer

We took a very special trip to Kansas over Memorial Day,
to say goodbye to Grandma Anna before she died of cancer.

I went out to walk and play with Grandpa Jim every afternoon we were there.

Back in Madison, I was a flamingo at the zoo.

I donated all my Easter money there!

The June weather was grand for playing with my friend in the backyard wading pool.

In July we flew to Kansas again for Grandma's funeral. Here
I am with two of my second cousins.

But the summer just kept on going anyway. Back home again, Mom
made me a crown of flowers...

... and I helped her freeze beans.

I'm becoming quite an artist!

Plus, I'm learning to write my name.

One more travel event, to North Carolina for the wedding of
Aunt Linda and Aunt Becky!

I loaded baggage at O'Hare on the way home.
