Lydia helped bake the Thanksgiving pies, pumpkin and pecan.

She also helps put silverware away when the dishwasher is done,
though she can't see to put it in the right slots!

She wore Mama's shoes at her grandparents' place the day after Thanksgiving.

A dressy Thanksgiving moment with Daddy.

Think she got her Daddy's eyes?

More household helpfulness... she hasn't yet learned that trash is a chore...

And she even does windows!

She likes to play Mama's guitar all by herself.

And then there's Mama's bookshelf to raid...

Or, alternatively, Daddy's wardrobe!
(She was pretty proud of herself after those two feats.)

The real-live Santa in the mall proved too overwhelming for Lydia,
but this smaller Santa statue felt less threatening
for photographic purposes.

Merry Christmas-card from the family!

Lydia felt a little possessive of her goodies on Christmas morning.

She got a white bunny puppet to complement her favorite brown one.

Ribbons and wrappings are almost as much fun as the contents!

And let's not forget to clean up afterwards.

We didn't get a white Christmas, but early January looked more wintry.

Have some snow, Mama!
