The First of the Lydia Pictures

Lydia entered the world via C-section,
but from the view on the scale, you'd guess
that she came via waterslide!

Mom was still on the operating table when she first got
to hold little Lydia.

The OB took this picture of the family
in the recovery room, just half an hour after the birth.

The hospital staff encouraged "kangaroo holding,"
lots of skin-to-skin contact.

Dad is so happy and proud...
